When politicians should refuse to answer questions

The rise of Donald Trump in the US and Jeremy Corbyn in the UK points to the fact that people are largely tired of mainstream, centrist politics. Unburdened by the need to actually govern, populist politicians are able to make fairly straightforward statements.
